PAYMAYA, an application which happens to be my favorite shopping buddy for two years now, has finally partnered up and extended its awesome services using FACEBOOK MESSENGER.
Just a brief background: PAYMAYA is an application which works as an online debit card that is available for both Android and iOS users. The app allows a registered user to shop online, pay for flights, purchase games, tickets, stream music and pay various bills without the need to step out of the house. Aside from the online debit card (VISA or MASTERCARD), users can also get a physical card which can be purchased from their website. This physical card can be used for withdrawing money in Tellering Machines and also for purchasing in selected stores. For two years now, PAYMAYA has done its very best to make people's lives easier and more convenient in which case, they have been successful in doing so.
And now, their partnership with FACEBOOK MESSENGER has made it even more convenient for PAYMAYA users to do so much more with the famous messaging application.
Allow me to demonstrate some of the services of PayMaya that are available using Facebook Messenger.
For starters, all you have to do is look for PAYMAYA using Facebook Messenger, click the account and it will send you a message and give you a set of instructions on what your next step will be (either you sign up for a new account, or link your existing PAYMAYA account if you already have one).
Once you have signed up or have already linked your existing PAYMAYA account with PAYMAYA at FACEBOOK MESSENGER, you can now do various activities like buy load, pay bills, send money, etc.
LET'S BUY LOAD!
Now off to the demonstration: For the first demo, I will be purchasing load using Paymaya via Facebook Messenger. Here is the best part: When you load using Paymaya, you automatically get a 5% discount for every amount loaded.
So I tried to buy 20 pesos worth of load which only costs Php 19 (Php 20 * .95)
After choosing the load amount of choice, click the confirm button and wait for further confirmation.
After confirmation, you will receive the load in a matter of seconds. Voila! How convenient was that?
LET'S SEND MONEY!
Another Paymaya service that can be availed using the Facebook Messenger app is the SEND MONEY option. So for this demonstration, I decided to transfer a thousand pesos to Mr. A's Paymaya account as a ugh well, pre-Christmas gift? Yeah, that'll do. Ha ha!
After clicking the Send Money option, you will be redirected to your list of contacts page where you get to choose the contact you are to send money to. So as you can see here, I ticked Mr. A's name and clicked the next button.
Next, type the amount you want to send.
Look: There's a generous space for notes for the recipient. Here's me sending a sweet holiday greeting ha ha!
Next, confirmation of payment is needed and in order to complete the process, you must type your FACEBOOK PASSWORD.
VOILA! Confirmation on Mr. A and I's Facebook Messenger convo that I successfully sent him Php 1,000.00 (with of course, the matching holiday greeting).
Another sure feature is that Paymaya also sends a confirmation message to your Paymaya registered number stating that you have successfully transacted and also shows what is left of your Paymaya credits.

Aside from the great news about the partnership between Paymaya and Facebook Messenger, you can earn as much as P 1,250.00 just by sharing the great news about this new feature with your friends.
For every friend that successfully signs up with Paymaya when they open their messenger (after sending them a referral link), you get 50 pesos and that particular friend also gets 50 pesos as well. This amount shall be added to your Paymaya credits within two to three business days after the transaction. You can only refer up to 25 friends which give you a total of P1,250.00. Win-Win situation right there!
